Donna S. Harkness is Associate Professor of Clinical Law at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and is Director of the Elder Law Clinic. She has been a National Elder Law Foundation Certified Elder Law Attorney since 2000, and a Tennessee Certified Elder Law Specialist since 2001. Ms. Harkness earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Memphis and her J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University. She is a frequent lecturer to various professional groups on elder law and ethical issues, and has published a number of articles on elder law issues. Ms. Harkness is a member of the Tennessee, Memphis and American Bar Associations, as well as a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
