David Chappell graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1968 "With Honors." He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law. Mr. Chappell has sat on the boards of many organizations, including State Bar of Texas (Chair), American Bar Association (Chair, Scope and Correlation Committee), State Bar of Texas College, and the Texas Lawyer Board of Editors. He is a Texas Bar Association and American Bar Association Fellow. Currently in private practice, Mr. Chappell practices, among others, Business, Employment, Commercial, and Tort Litigation, and is involved in local and state governmental relations. He is counsel with Cantey Hanger LLP, in Fort Worth, Texas.
